As an Indigenous artist I love to make woodland style pieces, that can represent many different things. I hope you like their designs!
The Stag
The stag is seen as a symbol of power, guidance, and connection between the spiritual and
physical worlds. In this image the stag is seen with other powerful elements of nature, standing proudly in the
center of it all. Trees that stand strong against the elements. Mountains that erupt from the collision of
tectonic plates and act as landmarks for people who live near them. Rivers that cut through the land and connect
the living beings that rely on it's water.
This image is an homage to my own mother, depicting a mother and baby olf. My mothre has
done a lot for me in my lifetime, and this image is to pay tribute to her and the lovee she's shown me. I've
given her much hardship, in my life, and I can only do my best to be a good son now to make up for it.
Turtle island is the land of my people, and many other Indigenous peoples in North America.
It is my home, and I love it to my core. This image is a simple love letter to my homeland.
This piece was made as a gift to my mother, and she seemed to like it. It's a portrait of
the two of us. Her favorite color is purple.
I made this as a commissioned piece for a friend of mine and it came out terrifically, I'm
quite proud of it if I do say so myself.
